Tasting Notes: BioKult, Air António Lopes & Sauvignon Republic

BioKult Grüner Veltliner 2008

White pepper, mineral aromas. Like a fresh bar of soap, in a good way. High acid, nice peppery echo on the palate. Juicy and simple.

BioKult Blauer Zweigelt

Smoke and bbq grilled meat nose. Light fruit wine to match with simple food like a salmon dish.

Air António Lopes Ribeiro Alentejo 2006

Very well balanced and crafted wine. Lots of bright fruit but with a
soul that shows it\’s old world complexity. Hints of leather and tar on the
back of the tongue, and raspberry and spice on the front.

Sauvignon Republic Sauvignon Blanc 2007

Floral mineral nose, light butter, bright effervescence, with a little apricot lemon aroma. Not too buttery on the palate. Drink with any kind of shellfish, especially a cold seafood salad.
