Although it has not yet been scientifically proved, eating food free of chemicals has got to be an option to seriously consider.Organic food are now more easily obtainable through many different outlets. Many farmers sell organic fruit and vegetables. By doing a search on the Internet you will immediately be able to find suppliers of many different types of organic food in many different countries. Supermarkets sell organic fruit and vegetables and other organic produce.

Tioma,

Check for an upcoming book review on Wild Wines, which details how to make wines from everything.

And for more info on chemicals, see our article on chemicals found in European wine: http://www.organicwinejournal.com/index.php/2008/03/pesticide-residues-found-in-conventional-european-wines/

Thanks for the article! Had no idea that only the grapes must be organic for the wine to be thus labelled! That's actually misleading. I've made wine from everything but grapes and have included not one artificial chemical, including sulfites, in my wine. I can't make enough--evreryone remarks on how smooth they are and they really do lift your spirits! From elderberry to apple to banana to dandelion, it's all good. Why not run down all the chemicals found in most wines for your readers?
